Criminal-Cultural Festival
This project was created as part of a first-year design workshop and presents a series of six posters for a fictional criminal-cultural festival. The setting is an ordinary bus stop—a space that goes unnoticed every day, yet can transform into a venue for a cultural event. The series combines three main posters with three more experimental compositions, executed using manual techniques: stamping, stenciling, and lettering.

The Origin of the Festival Imagery
The starting point for this project was a real bus stop near my home. Its unusual detail—transparent holes in the wall resembling bullet marks—became the foundation of the posters' visual language. From this, I derived imagery of bullet holes, asphalt, footprints, a pigeon, and the bus stop itself. Black and white formed the base of the series, while yellow references road markings and elements of urban stops. The texture of the asphalt was taken directly from the urban surface to maintain a connection to the actual location.Three main posters are structured as stages of an investigation: the search, the evidence, and the witness. Three experimental pieces continue this narrative through images of the suspect, the photobooth, and the crime scene. The festival date is also connected to the criminal theme: in Russia, this day marks the Day of Establishment of Organized Crime Fighting Units.
