Description
COLLAB — a set of matching silver rings dedicated to the concept of union and the interaction between two independent individuals.
The concept is based on the metaphor of collaboration as a merging where each participant maintains their individuality, yet together they create something entirely new.

The set of rings becomes an extension of my diploma project—COLLAB production.
The word COLLAB is inscribed on the surface of the rings, divided between the two pieces. Each ring individually contains only a fragment of the word, but when joined, they form a unified inscription. Thus, the meaning is revealed through the interaction of the two objects.
The set symbolizes closeness, partnership, and mutual complementarity. Just as two people form an alliance, two brands within COLLAB PRODUCTION merge their identities to create a new collaborative product.
The rings serve as a physical embodiment of the production’s main principle: two independent participants—one shared result.

Technical Specifications
A set of two silver rings, built on a unified geometric basis—a wide cylindrical band featuring debossed typography on the exterior surface. The rings differ in diameter and height while maintaining the overall structural principle. The inscription COLLAB is split between the two pieces: each ring holds a portion of the letters, which form the complete word when the rings are assembled. Thus, the typographic relief becomes the primary structural and decorative element of the set.

Production
3D Modeling
I developed the models for both rings in Blender. During this stage, the cylindrical bodies were formed, the product dimensions were set, and an engraved typographic relief was created. The placement of the letters was calculated so that when the rings were aligned, the fragments of the inscription formed the single word COLLAB.
Subsequently, I transferred the 3D models to a jewelry workshop for manufacturing using the lost-wax casting method.Casting
The rings are cast in 925 sterling silver. Each piece is a monolithic metal structure with an integrated typographic relief.Finishing
After casting, I removed the sprue from the pieces and performed manual surface leveling, cleaning, and polishing. The smooth, reflective surface emphasizes the rings' concise geometry and the depth of the letter relief.
Status: Project fully realized. 3D models have been developed, rings have been cast in .925 sterling silver, and they have completed finishing and polishing. Two physical pieces are ready. The production files are organized in the folder «B23DZ06 FACTORY — CHUKALINA DARYA».
