BLANK is a series of collectible toys sold in blind boxes
This series is based on a character from my short film graduation animation.
Blank, a white raven (from the French Blanc—white), was ostracized by her peers, the ordinary black ravens, but she continues to learn self-acceptance and remain as cool and unique as ever!
Concept and Moodboards
The primary references for this series were surprise toys, which have gained significant popularity in Asia and beyond in recent years.
Before purchasing and opening the sealed packaging, the buyer does not know which specific collectible toy is inside, and if they want to complete the entire collection, they will have to buy several of these boxes.
The inspiration for the toys came from various amusing photographs, not only of crows but also of other birds.
Toy Models
In this series, the toys are solid and do not have any extra pieces that attach to the figure.
Packaging Design
For the series, box and stand designs were also developed (cardboard casings designed to hold nine boxes simultaneously).
Currently, there are 5 toys in the series. In the future, this collection could be expanded by creating a sequel set (for example, a series with white ravens with various accessories, a series with black ravens, etc.).
