A bouquet holder typically functions as a vase or an aquapack, but both formats have limitations: transfers can leak and do not secure flowers well, while vases are not adapted to the size of a specific bouquet.

In the AVIVA project, I integrated both functions into a reusable design object that is easy to transport, secure in a car, and flexibly transformable into a vase of the required size.
The name AVIVA is linked to the Latin word viva—meaning «living» or «full of life.» It reflects the product’s core concept: caring for flowers throughout their entire journey, from the moment of purchase to their placement in an interior setting. The palindrome format resonates with the object’s principle of operation: the item easily transforms from a carrier to a vase and back again. The visual form of the letters also mirrors the silhouette of the object and alludes to its characteristic conical shape.
