Memories trapped in a dungeon creep up in the dark.
Damn…They scatter like rats.
Dead souls. The rat prowls in silence.
The ashes are carried deep into the skull.
Goblin opens the curtains with a cross-eyed grin.
Panic.
I blink as he disappears among the shadows, a hint of prophetic cat eyes.
The dust settles thickly, so by nine, when I stagger to the frozen door, I leave footprints for future excavations.
The air stutters tick-tick-tick.
They say the ice age is coming, the weather is changing.
The crackling of the grave digger beetle, the beetle of sad slate roofs.
The lipstick in your pocket is radioactive, Cassandra.
Outside, under a leaden hail, the swan of Avon Don’t have to worry is dying a syncopated death.I’m at home.
Frost without frost took July by the throat.
The guardian gods of the hearth have left us, no one remembers exactly when.
What were we supposed to do in these decaying lands?
Die of boredom?
Or have fun hatching from scarlet and turquoise pupae, like dead heads from tiny plants.
An eternity of night.
Not by slamming the door, but by whimpering.
He squatted down by her burnt-out heart. Pleading won’t save his soul.
We heard voices: «I’ve seen the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness.»
The world is on the path of destruction. Don’t get tangled in the rags of your life. Stop with a creak, but don’t explode.
