AMUSANT (in French — funny, jokey) — furniture project by architect Max Yarovoy.
As opposed to architectural precision, AMUSANT`s anthem is: «your first instinct is always right». Every object is an embodiment of the first idea caught by words, chunky doodle, or paper model. By virtue of being uncertain ideas of the new objects comes from everyday life, memes, world of fashion and art.

«Idea of the GRATER was born on the kitchen. I was dreaming about a clothes hanger which may not look like a habitual hanger while I was grating a carrot. At that moment I’ve realized, the perfect prototype is right in my hands. »
The object has a cut-pyramided shape. Its dimensions are 1850×450×450 mm. The structure is made of laser-cut metal (2 mm), gloss varnished in silver. Each of the four edges has an individual pattern of teeth, which act as hooks for clothes.
The decorative handle on the top is finishing the whole image.
