he 130-square-meter apartment is centrally located in St. Petersburg, in a historic district. It is on the top floor, overlooking iconic sights and panoramic views of the city. In my projects, I always try to pay homage to the history of a place. The location of the apartment was formed at the beginning of the 20th century, and most of the buildings in the area were built in the Art Nouveau style. Therefore, I decided to incorporate some design elements from this era into the interior. The oval not only serves as a decorative element, but it also visually unites the kitchen and living areas into a cohesive space. It symbolizes unity, harmony, and balance. The project incorporates a lot of natural stone and precious woods, such as oak, rosewood, and poplar root. The living room wall features relief plaster, a nod to the brutal decoration of the facades of Art Nouveau buildings. The interior features a number of iconic pieces of furniture, which have become classics of modern design. It also includes works by contemporary artists
