«21 Grams» — a series about the weight that cannot be seen. In the early 20th century, a physician attempted to weigh the soul and recorded a number: at the moment of death, a person allegedly becomes lighter by 21 grams. Science could not confirm the legend, but the number remained—as a measure of what makes us alive. Here, it becomes material: every piece of jewelry weighs exactly 21 grams of 925 sterling silver.The form of the series is a laboratory weight, an object associated with precision. Three pieces—three of its states.«The Standard» — a complete weight pendant on a chain: the measure of a soul you carry close to your heart and can place on a scale.«Half» — two rings, each weighing 10.5 grams; each features half of a weight with a mirrored cut, and only when two people join hands does it become whole.«The Neck» — a choker where the body and head of the weight are spaced along the collarbone: the person’s neck becomes the weight’s neck—a place where unsaid words get stuck.Whole, divided, shattered—one soul in three states.

STANDARD
A small weight is the standard against which everything else is measured. It is hidden beneath the clothing, but its weight is always felt: 21 grams that will pass verification on a real scale.
HALF
A kettlebell cut in half. Each ring is an incomplete measure, 10.5 grams. A whole soul is formed only when two bring their halves together.

Without blackening: the numbers are revealed only by shadow—like a weight you feel but cannot see.FinishUnplated, pure 925 sterling silver. Electroplating against tarnishing is a decision made with the artisan before finishing.ComfortNothing sharp or snagging: the ring edges are rounded, and the pendant and choker have soft radii.
