Concept
The project focuses on the themes of home, memory, and the fragility of the connection between a person and what they have habitually considered their own. Through sculpture, relief, and painting, I explore how personal memories of places, people, animals, and objects evolve over time, and what happens when that connection is lost. The presented works are a new series continuing my thesis project, «Unstable Spaces of Belonging.» They expand upon its artistic language while continuing the investigation into memory, belonging, and loss.

«Flimsy Spaces of Belonging»: Part I
Previously created works from the «Shifting Spaces of Belonging» project were exhibited at the international modern art fair Cosmoscow 2026 in Moscow. Participation in the fair represented another stage of the project’s public presentation and allowed it to be shown within a broader context of contemporary art.
