Hello Robo — an American design studio specializing in developing digital products, branding, and user interfaces for companies in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation.
The studio works with tech startups and industrial corporations, helping to create intuitive user experiences for complex engineering products. Its main mission is to make human interaction with robotic systems natural, convenient, and intuitive.

Brand Analysis
Hello Robo merges engineering precision with human-centered design. The core idea is that even the most complex technologies must be perceived as an intuitive tool.
The brand’s audience includes founders of tech startups, engineers, and companies working in robotics. Reliability, clarity, and professionalism are especially important to them.
The brand’s Tone of Voice is calm, confident, and concise. The brand’s key values are technological sophistication, functionality, trust, clarity, and a focus on the human experience.

Sonic Identity Concept
The musical identity develops the brand’s core concepts—precision, clarity, and human-centricity.
An additional impetus came from the Hello Robo team’s passion for modern Japanese culture and design. The sound is inspired by the works of Ryoji Ikeda and Byetone, which combine minimalism, microsound, and a technological soundscape.
However, these techniques have been adapted into a more accessible form: a calm tempo and concise rhythm create an image of contemporary technology without excessive experimentation or futurism.
Logo
The foundation of the sound logo is the initials «HR,» coded in Morse code. This technique alludes to one of the earliest universal information transmission systems, symbolizing the communication between human and technology.
The second part of the logo is a synthesized voice saying «Hello Robo» with a subtle Japanese accent, reflecting the brand’s technological nature and its connection to Japanese culture. Both elements can be used together or separately, maintaining the recognizability of the identity.
Brand Reel
A musical composition was created for the presentation brand video that extends the overall identity concept. Its soundscape is built upon minimalist digital textures, micro-rhythms, and synthetic timbres, which emphasize the technological nature of the products and the company’s dedication to user experience.
Jingles
As part of the project, a series of seven short musical jingles in varying moods was also created, executed with a unified style, alongside a sound logo and a brand reel.
Thanks to their concise structure and versatility, they can be used as musical stings, podcast intros, background tracks for short videos, and social media content.
The complete set of jingles forms a cohesive sonic system for the brand, ensuring the recognizability of Hello Robo across various digital platforms.

Thus, the sonic identity becomes an extension of Hello Robo’s visual language, forming a cohesive brand image and making its communication more recognizable and consistent.
