«Forest Critters on the Hike» — Kids' Camping Thermos

Kids' thermos for water and warm drinks, designed for family outings, hiking, and travel. The compact body, featuring soft rounded edges, is comfortable for a child’s hand, thanks to a side handle shaped like a mug handle. Drinking is done through a straw in the top spout; a separate mug-lid is provided on top, which protects the straw and can also serve as a small container for a parent. A thin string with a flat animal-shaped charm makes the item recognizable and helps prevent the thermos from getting lost on the go. The design combines safe ergonomics, a simple construction, and a calm, minimalistic aesthetic for an active outdoor kids' item.

The thermos is conceived as part of a scenario for family reading and nature exploration: the child takes it on a walk, to the park, the woods, or on a trip, while the adult helps fill it with water or a warm drink. The shape references a familiar mug—the side handle makes gripping intuitive, and the upper cup-lid creates a clear ritual of «opened—sipped—closed.»

The small animal keychain is part of the object’s imagery. It is made flat, with moderate relief and a fine-grained texture, so that it does not look like a sculpture and remains a safe, lightweight decorative element.

The body, handle, drinking spout, and cup-lid are made of food-grade PP or Tritan plastic in a matte white finish. The area that the child touches while drinking is plastic—this makes the surface pleasing and safe to the touch.

Inside, there is a 304 stainless steel flask with vacuum insulation. It keeps the drink’s temperature but is enclosed by the plastic body, so it does not come into contact with the child’s lips or hands.

The straw is made of food-grade plastic. The cord is thin braided polyester, and the charm is made of soft PVC or silicone with a moderate texture. The matte white plastic makes the thermos visually light and warm to the touch, while the steel flask ensures the drink stays at the desired temperature.
