Concept
Inspired by Madonna and her iconic song «Vogue,» I wanted to create a video piece based on the song through my interpretation of the music video, while also attempting to capture the original atmosphere.
References and Implementation
In addition to basing it on the original music video, I also discovered a video titled «World of Color.» An unknown user uploaded this video, which compiles clips of Madonna laughing and touching up her makeup.
I was struck by how the uploader «colored» the video, which made it more vibrant and engaging. During the realization of my project, the decision was made to similarly add color to certain shots.

The music video is highly choreographed because it literally sings about the voguing dance style; for this very reason, the choreography incorporates many references to that style (hand movements, shapes, and poses).
