I started a series of silkscreen prints incorporating embroidery and heat transfer during my residency at the «Svods» cultural center, GES-2.
I am interested in leisure.Through travel and new experiences, we strive to restore our scattered attention, which has been fatigued by monotonous routine; we eagerly absorb and bring back from vacation traces of sensory stimuli—and watch as they gradually fade, lose their vibrancy, and burn out, like a photo on a summer t-shirt.
On vacation, I photographed the ordinary pleasures of tourism offered by an all-inclusive package—pinecones, the scent of warm earth, the pine-scented air—which I savored with a cone of hotel ice cream.The photos were printed on fragments of an old film screen from a military unit near Moscow.For me, this is a history of memory about leisure—a phantom of recreation, the flags of a non-existent republic of sensual perception.
In May 2026, I exhibited a project at the «Korney» Gallery as part of the group exhibition, «The Work We Are Doing.»
