«Meeting Myself”—a project exploring how we recognize ourselves in the sights we observe and photograph while traveling.
During travel, a person records not only new places but also their own emotional state. Photography often functions as a form of self-discovery; what seems visually or emotionally resonant makes it into the frame. In this instance, the focus is on a solitary tree in an open landscape. This image can be viewed as a projection of an inner state and a means of noticing oneself within the external landscape.
