The natural landscape is examined as a collection of forms, textures, and traces of time. In Komarovo’s photographs, the focus shifts from the landscape as a whole to individual details: the structure of stone, the curves of branches, the shoreline, and the interaction of light and surface.
Photography captures a moment and preserves the observed form, separating it from its original context. The print returns materiality to the image—it acquires its own surface, borders, and physical presence in space.
