The Problem
Students in online education are in a state of passive viewing—they watch videos «in the background,» do not engage with the process, do not test themselves, and do not retain the material in memory.Currently, there are no readily available tools to create interactive quizzes within videos on VKontakte—domestic platforms have not yet managed to create open-source alternatives following the departure of foreign services.
Solution
Create a service that allows the integration of interactive quizzes and questions into video content within the VK social network to increase viewer engagement.
Format
«VK-AscPoint» is a web application built on the VK Mini Apps platform. It opens directly within VKontakte and features its own video player with timecode-based questions: the video pauses at a specified second, the viewer answers, receives feedback, and continues watching.
Upon logging in, the user selects a role: a student views the video with quizzes, while a teacher uploads videos, marks questions, and views statistics for each student—including which answers were given, where errors occurred, how far they watched, and how much time the session took.
