VIDEOSET — The debut alt-pop single by the duo richsabina138. By transforming the latest global electropop trends through our unique vision, we created a raw-energy, unconventional dance banger.
A crucial element of an authorial interpretation of a genre is an unexpected shift in tonality in the chorus—one that departs from the prevailing stylistic tone and references the characteristic sound of Deftones. At this moment, the taut electropop pulse of the rhythm section, built on samples and 808 bass, abruptly transitions to live drums and guitars.
Production, mixing, and mastering of the single were also handled in-house—the distinctive, authentic sound of VIDEOSET features a deliberately rough, aggressive texture. This approach is a crucial component of the band richsabina138's creative methodology.
The punk attitude is manifested through a provocative graphic element—a photograph of Nicole Kidman from the 2000s featuring the Sabina logo placed directly on the actress’s face. Such images featuring public figures who are not part of the project are strictly prohibited on streaming services—however, we managed to bypass the moderation restrictions and insist on our own artistic vision.
