CONCEPT The costume reinterprets the image of Oscar Wilde through the sunflower—a symbol of British aestheticism. The core idea is to convey the contrast between his bright public persona and the vulnerability of the individual to public judgment. The primary device is the transition from dense, voluminous colors on the face and shoulders to individual petals on sheer fabric, symbolizing the loss of protection. The floral mask conceals the eyes: behind the recognizable image, the personality disappears. The golden flowers, black background, and theatrical lighting accentuate the expressive nature and fragility of the garment.
