I created an art poster for a competition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the fundamental principles of the ICRC. My work was selected to be featured in the exhibition as part of this event.

For a class assignment, I was given the word «impartiality» and the craft of making cloth dolls for inspiration. Impartiality is a principle by which aid is provided not based on nationality, race, religion, or social status, but solely on human need. I envisioned each scrap of fabric as a person—of different backgrounds, yet equal in their need. The poster has a kind, cozy character because impartiality isn’t cold; it is full of warmth and care for everyone.
