Participation in the International Media Hackathon

I participated in the 2024 competition alongside my classmates, Ulyana and Anya. First, we filmed a video introduction that qualified us for the in-person stage of the competition. The next assignment was a case study from the competition’s partners: we had to collaboratively prepare a promotional video showcasing the work of the departments and the interactive features of the T. A. Mavrina Regional Children’s Library. We were given only three days to prepare the media product, during which I worked as a screenwriter, camera operator, and editor. We aimed to make the video as informative and engaging as possible for the viewer. We highlighted the work of various venues and departments, the broad range of literature, the innovative equipment, and captured the library’s atmosphere. In the end, we placed fifth in the competition.
