SYNOPSIS AND ANIMATICS
The little devil sells kolaches at the fair, but no one pays him any mind. Customers pass by, preferring the goods from a merchant who always has a crowd gathered around him. Running out of sales, the little devil goes home, and an idea strikes him… to steal the merchant’s goods. In the evening, the devil attempts the theft but fails and falls into a basket of merchandise. Finding himself at the home of his sworn business rival, the little devil finds paska and tries to taste it. This touching moment is interrupted by the merchant, who, in shock, lunges at the thief with a frying pan, but during the fight, the devil wins. True, it’s all because the merchant bangs his head on the table…
A random murder throws all the little devil’s plans into chaos—he doesn’t know what to do next. However, seeing his reflection in a frying pan, he comes up with a plan. The next day, he returns to the fair with the merchant’s goods, pasting on a pair of trimmed mustaches. After a short pause, everyone silently starts buying his kolachiki, accepting the new look of their favorite vendor.
