About the Project
The project explores the spiritual journey by merging perceptions of the past and the present. In the current temporal context, «the path is often understood as a connection between one thing and another.»
I chose Torii gates because they symbolize a transition from one world to another while also connecting us to the transcendent. In this project, I aimed to convey simultaneously the feeling of these gates, their cyclical nature, and their relationship to the contemporary sense of virtual space.
