The Concept of the «Toxin» Scarf
The composition features a snake biting a hand—a motif referencing nautical tattoos bearing the inscription «Trust No One, ” symbolizing betrayal and the loss of trust. This gesture serves as a metaphor for toxic interpersonal relationships where intimacy turns into threat, and trust becomes vulnerability.
The composition is further complemented by the Tarot card „Justice, ” numbered XI. The inscription Unicuique secundum opera eius („Everyone receives what they deserve“) underscores the idea of responsibility for one’s own actions and their consequences. Gothic elements, inspired by cathedral architecture, amplify the image of judgment and higher justice.
