Project Concept
The core idea behind the project «What I Live For» is to depict a person through their passion—an interest that has become an integral part of their life. To realize this concept, I sought a model whose story was closely intertwined with dance. Ayana Muratova became this subject—a young woman who has dedicated herself to the art of dance since childhood.
I wanted to reveal her not just as a model, but as a person for whom dance has become a means of self-expression and an essential part of her identity.

From Concept to Frame
The shoot took place in a photo studio and was entirely based on my creative concept. During preparation, I meticulously planned the visual mood, the imagery, and the composition of the frames to capture the aesthetics of ballet.
Special attention was paid to working with light, body plasticity, and the naturalness of movement.
More Than Dance
It was important in this project to show that dance is not just movement and technique, but an entire narrative that stands behind the individual. Through photography, we aimed to convey the protagonist’s inner state, her connection to art, and the unique love for her craft that is forged over years.
The finished photo series was created for the model’s personal use and social media publication. This project allowed me to realize my own creative vision and work with fine art photography, where every frame conveys not just an external image, but a piece of the person’s story.
