Collection Goal — to complement winter looks and bring a piece of summer even on the snowiest days. Flowers pushing through the ice and fruit buried in snow—a reminder that even though winter may seem harsh, flowers are still hiding somewhere in its tenacious ice.
The collection’s palette consists of three colors: red and orange, which evoke summer, as well as indigo, reminiscent of early darkness, ice, and snow.
In THAW, the contrast between transparent and opaque, rigid and soft, is central. The collection utilizes tulle: in most accessories, it signifies the fragility of summer attributes and flower petals. Plastic is responsible for affixing decorative elements, yet in the fruits and flowers, the plastic suggests a chance of breaking through the snow. Glitter evokes associations with frost and cold.
