Old Project Description
A mockumentary about Krasnogorsk, officially recognized as the happiest city. A budding reporter takes to the streets to discover whether the residents are truly happy, but each interviewee evades a direct answer. The project explores the contradiction between the city’s statistical image and the lived human experience.
Project Description
«Happiness Statistics» is a concept for a municipal service that allows residents to measure their happiness using public terminals. The user completes a short survey, receives a personal happiness index, and a printed receipt with the result. The project develops the ideas from the original film, transforming the absurdity of quantifying human emotions into a civic service.

Terminals are placed in public spaces: at bus stops, in parks, and shopping centers. The uniform shape and color allow the service to be recognized across various locations. The contrast between the bright yellow device and the gray urban environment maintains the visual aesthetic of the original mockumentary.
Production Process
The visual concept for this project was developed based on the short film, «Krasnogorsk: Happiness Statistics.» Generative AI tools were used to create product visualizations, promotional posters, identity elements, and merchandise.
The work proceeded in stages: concept and visual style development, image generation using text prompts, selection and refinement of results, and adapting the graphics for various media. To maintain project consistency, a unified color palette, recurring graphic elements, and a cohesive visual identity for the kiosk were employed.
The final compositions and typography were refined manually.
