We are accustomed to perceiving material objects—especially hard, heavy, and technologically complex ones—as something constant and reliable. They become a sort of foundation, creating a sense of security and control over one’s life. However, beneath this external durability lies their vulnerability: things break, wear out, lose their value, and require new investment. What seemed stable is, in fact, constantly slipping away.

In my work, I explore the ephemerality of the material through the contradiction between the conventional representation of an object and its physical embodiment. I create an automobile as a soft, fragile, and conceptual structure.
The object is the silhouette of a car constructed from synthetic felt. Its form is assembled from soft textile fragments, joined by visible, hand-stitched seams.
