My ikigai is… watching the ink spread.

My ikigai is watching the ink bleed. It is a meditative practice that allows me to be present in the moment, savor the act of creation, and let go. The core principle guiding this series was «impart a shape, and then trust the material"—it resulted in a kind of collaboration that balances freedom with control.

The movement of the tiny specks of ink reminded me of insects, and I dedicated drawing them as a separate theme—I have always been captivated by these creatures, especially stag beetles. Many memories from my childhood are connected to them. Even now, watching them, I feel my heart fill with love.
