Freedom of thought

The project is an artistic investigation into the era of repression, examining history not as an abstract phenomenon, but through the lens of damaged human lives. The central idea of the project is the conflict between total conformity and the human right to one’s own voice. Through the imagery of the «Five Corners» intersection, as well as the concepts of the «scarf» and the «apron,» the work reveals the tragedy of suppressed creative freedom and makes timely the issue of independent thought—which, under the dictatorship of power, becomes dangerous and leads to the disintegration of the individual.
