«Secret» — a Japanese-style desk lamp
The idea originated from the concept of my video game, SHOKUNIN, which features a master blacksmith crafting stealth gear for ninjas. In this universe, craftsmanship intertwines with mystery, and every object conceals a secret layer. I wanted to translate this narrative into a physical object: an LED tea candle that descends into a niche, filling the room with a warm pattern of shadows.
The lamp is designed for local evening illumination of a bedside area, a workspace, or a meditation zone. Its compact, cordless body allows for free placement within the interior.

Materials
Material: Polylactic Acid (PLA plastic)
Color and Texture: Deep matte black / dark graphite (Matte PLA) with a textured surface
Chosen for its printing precision, lack of deformation, and resistance to thermal shrinkage. This is a non-toxic, biodegradable plastic safe for home use.
Light Source (Purchased Unit)
Type: Tea electronic LED candle with a flickering flame effect;
Module Dimensions: Diameter 38.0 mm, height 38–40 mm (including flame simulation);
Power: 1 × CR2032 lithium battery (3V).
This light source was chosen because it prevents the casing from overheating above the critical 50 °C for PLA (fire safety) and provides the object with autonomy without requiring external power cords.
Fabrication and Assembly
The lighting fixture details are 3D-printed using finalized STL production models.
The electronic LED tea candle is purchased in bulk from lighting equipment suppliers or on marketplaces.
The object consists of three nested parts. The LED candle is placed in the base, after which the structure is covered with walls, and a roof is placed on top of the walls.
