Project Description
The great and beautiful dawn prince lives in a palace amidst luxury and wealth. But the illusion of his grandeur shatters when the truth about his purpose is revealed—to become a sacrifice for the benefit of the sun cult ritual.
Miraculously saved, he loses his perfect appearance and his belief in his chosen status.
However, his fall from the heights of his ambitions is not the end of the journey. It is the acquisition of weight and the first step onto solid ground—the beginning of a new life.
It is only when the shell of vanity shatters that one can see their true face. And then, perhaps, the Sun will shine again—but without blinding.

Garment Simulation
As the person responsible for creating visual effects, one of my primary tasks was to simulate the clothing—the setups for which were created for the main character, the maids, and the guard. The costumes were made in Marvelous Designer.

The setups supported difficult poses and strong curves. Additionally, the time scale was adjusted to create smoother movements.
For the maids, grooming was done, and the physics engine of Unreal Engine 5 was used, which allowed the simulation to be rendered and configured directly within the program itself.
Destruction Simulations
Glass Fracture Simulation
One of the main tasks was creating a destruction simulation. Thus, a shattered glass effect, a sculpture crack, and a falling statue were created. These shots allowed us to heighten the cinematic sense of emotional anxiety and immerse the viewer in the hero’s experience.
Volumetric Effects
Smoke from the sickle
The project also incorporated volumetric effects, such as: dust from shards, smoke from the cigarette and sickle.
To successfully transfer these effects into Unreal Engine, a large amount of information was gathered from the internet, and a collection of supplementary plugins and materials was sourced to aid the transition.
Particle and Flip Simulations

Also, simulations of points were incorporated into the project. The bubbles in the underwater scene, as well as the custom procedural fog used in the background, played a particularly significant role. To transfer these types of effects, the Houdini Engine plugin was utilized, which allowed for the recording of the point cache and its attributes. Subsequently, the setups were rebuilt in Niagara.
The final effects implemented in the project—blood and bubble flip simulations.—lent the narrative greater realism and emotional depth.
