SPLASHY — a water gun where functionality merges with minimalist aesthetics.
Concept:
Reimagining the traditional water pistol through modern minimalist design. Instead of aggressive forms, bright contrasts, and superfluous details—smooth lines, muted tones, and concise geometry.

The model’s main feature is a cohesive visual design featuring smooth transitions and rounded corners. The ergonomic handle ensures a comfortable grip, while the transparent, removable reservoir allows for easy water level monitoring.The pastel color palette makes the toy visually appealing and allows it to blend harmoniously even into a nursery interior.
SPLASHY features compact dimensions and an ergonomic design. The body dimensions of 250 × 160 × 50 are designed for a comfortable grip and ease of use.
Use Case Scenario
1. Filling. With adult assistance, the child unscrews the transparent reservoir and fills it with clean water.
2. Preparation. The reservoir is replaced, and the connection is sealed tightly.
3. Play. The user grips the gun handle and activates the water dispensing mechanism by pressing a button.
4. Monitoring. The transparent container allows observation of the remaining water level.
5. Storage. After use, the water is drained, the item is dried, and placed among other toys.
Materials, Construction, and Production
For the housing, we propose using matte lavender ABS plastic; for the transparent reservoir, PETG or Tritan, and for the seals, silicone.
The proposed mass-production technology is injection molding, and for initial prototypes, we are using 3D printing. In the prepared package, I included a dimensional drawing, an assembly schematic, a 3D model, an editable parametric model, and visualizations of the object in a children’s room and outdoors on the grass.
