Dreams slip away upon waking, leaving only fragments. SOMA is a startup that preserves dreams onto a physical medium: a disc. Dreams no longer vanish by morning; they become objects that can be stored, rewatched, and shared. Each disc looks like a document from a discovered personal archive: paper, dream number, date, time.
A person sleeps in the SOMA mask, which features a soft sensor. The service recognizes sleep cycles and annotates the recording with archetypes: water, flight, home, falling, path, fire, and others. Every recorded dream transforms into a disc housed in a transparent box.
