Tapestry, created based on the work «Assembled Memory.» This project is a continuation of my previous work, which focused on broken Christmas ornaments and the Japanese technique of kintsugi. In that piece, I explored the idea of restoring what has been lost: the shattered fragments of the ornaments were reassembled into a new object, allowing the traces of damage to become part of its inherent value.

In this new project, this principle is extended from individual subjects to memories of childhood. Much like a broken toy, memory does not preserve a complete picture of the past, but rather isolated images, sensations, and details. Using collage techniques, I assemble these fragments into a unified composition, creating a collective image of the New Year of childhood.
