Cover Challenge: Introduce the theme in a way that aligns with common understanding, without spoiling a future twist.
Formulate the theme as it is typically presented in popular perception. The cover should sound familiar and safe. This establishes a foundation from which a semantic shift can later occur.
Step 2. Stereotype
Явно зафиксировать распространенное представление или шаблон мышления
Present the stereotype using recognizable phrasing and imagery, without critique at this stage. The audience must agree: yes, people usually think this way. It is important to honestly and accurately capture the conventional version of the view.
Step 3. Breaking Point
Показать ограничения, ошибки или неполноту стереотипа
Show where and why conventional assumptions stop working or prove incomplete. Use facts, examples, and logical contradictions. Don’t transition to the new perspective too quickly—let the audience experience the moment the pattern breaks down.
Step 4. A New Perspective
Предложить более точную, широкую или глубокую интерпретацию
Propose a new framework of understanding that accounts for both the stereotype and its limitations. The new perspective should feel more comprehensive and explanatory, rather than simply oppositional. A model or schema that reconstructs the entire picture works well.
Step 5. Finale
Закрепить изменение взгляда и новую интерпретацию
Capture a new perspective in a concise and clear statement. You can return to the original stereotype and show how it is now read differently. The conclusion must solidify the intellectual shift and leave a feeling of clarification.
