SLEEPMODE is a short animated film about three 3D specialists on the verge of a nervous breakdown who navigate an absurd, glitching city—much like their software—in a race to make it to their project defense.
COLOR SCRIPT
ColorScript is inspired by an unusual visual narrative and features a unique color association for each character.
The new color in the location not only delineates spaces but also sets the rhythm of the plot’s development—from clearly separated hues at the beginning to their complete blending in the finale.
RITA
Rita is one of the main characters in sleepmode. Her design is built upon sharp, dynamic forms that convey the character’s nature. Rita became the first character to establish the overall style for the entire project.

LENYA
Lenya is one of the main characters in Sleepmode. His silhouette is built from sharp, geometric facets, and the rectangular form is the basis of his shape. Work on this character took longer than on the others.

SONYA
Sonya is one of the main characters in sleepmode. The silhouette is based on soft and flowing lines. Conceptual progress was made systematically. Costume options were developed and color palettes were chosen using the established pipeline.

BABKA
Babka is one of the minor negative characters who acts as Rita’s antagonist. A significant amount of time was dedicated to searching for and analyzing references to select harmonious color palettes and imagery.
