The project explores the interaction between humans and their environment through the objects they use every day. Instead of depicting the person themselves, their presence is revealed through traces of contact: scuffs, dents, deformations, dirt, and broken or displaced objects. A series of 13 black-and-white sketches sequentially portrays one day in a person’s life—from waking up to evening—gradually unveiling their state through changes in the surrounding environment.
The series is structured as a visual diary of a single day, where the person is physically absent but present through the consequences of their actions. Each spread captures a specific moment in time and a group of objects: an alarm clock, a blister pack, a mug, a lock, a bus railing, a keyboard, an elevator, a dining table, and other objects.
