«Silhouette» is a collection of brooch-clips designed for creating drapery and altering clothing fit. The accessory secures fabric folds and serves as a decorative accent. The collection includes three forms: «Oval, ” „Wave, ” and „Pearl.“
Problem and Function
A loose-waist dress doesn’t always create the desired silhouette. A brooch allows you to locally gather excess fabric, emphasize the waist, or alter the draping without having to alter the garment.
Concept
«The touch that creates form.»
The brooch mimics the gesture of a hand gathering fabric into a fold. The sleek lines of the ornamentation support the movement of the drapery, while the concealed fastening holds it in place.

«Oval» — a streamlined shape with an open center. «Wave» — an asymmetrical form that continues the fabric’s curves. «Pearl» — a rounded shape featuring a decorative mother-of-pearl inlay.

Production Technology
The proposed process involves casting decorative parts, surface finishing, and assembly with the finished mechanism.
- Developing a 3D model of the casing with mounting points.

- Polishing and applying the chosen finish.
- Installing the clamp, contact overlays, and decorative insert.

Transportation and Security
Each brooch is secured to a soft base within a small, rigid box. The metal surfaces and decorative inlay are protected from friction. The base must hold the item without applying constant pressure to the mechanism.For shipment to the store, individual boxes are placed inside a transport carton with dividers or filler. An outer box, which protects the item from crushing, is used when sending it to the customer.
