Shopper — Terminal A Merch

The shopper graphic complements the current merchandise line for CSI «Terminal A.» Four panels featuring original characters are assembled into a composition reminiscent of a comic book page. Facial expressions, gestures, and small details allow each panel to be read as a separate scene. The white graphics and the inscription «Terminal A» are placed on black fabric. Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing was chosen for application.

The composition is placed on the exterior of the shopper bag and is centered. The print width is 27 cm, and the height is approximately 21 cm, maintaining the drawing’s proportions. The top edge of the image is situated 7 cm below the top edge of the bag. There is a margin of free fabric surrounding the graphic.

For this project, a ready-made black shopper bag measuring 45,5×35 cm with a small interior pocket is used. Its construction does not require separate design development.

DTG—direct-to-garment printing—has been selected for graphic transfer. This method allows for the preservation of fine lines and small details from the original composition. The minimum 2 mm requirement for individual elements specified in the brief for DTF would have necessitated a change in the design’s character, so this technology was not chosen for the current version.

A test print on the selected substrate is required before producing the final run: this test confirms the legibility of thin lines and text, the density of the white ink, and the placement of the image. Visualizations present the design solution and do not substitute for actual print testing on the fabric.
