Series of movie posters for the film White Palms.

This series of posters is inspired by the film’s atmosphere and its central themes: strict discipline, childhood memories, and the protagonist’s inner turmoil. The black-and-white graphics, recurring motifs, and multi-layered compositions help convey how the past constantly recurs and influences a person.

During the film, I experienced feelings of anxiety and discomfort, so I wanted to translate that sensation into the posters. Distortions, noise, frame overlays, and fragmented imagery create a tense and somewhat oppressive atmosphere that mirrors the character’s emotional state and the film’s overall mood.
