The «Danger Detectors» project explores motherhood as a state of constant vigilance and heightened sensitivity to potential threat. The everyday environment—apartment, entrance hall, street—becomes a space filled with objects and situations that seem neutral to an adult, but which carry a different level of danger in a mother’s perception.
Through images of everyday scenes, this series of works documents the shifting lens of perception: a mother constantly scans her surroundings, noticing what others overlook. «Danger Detectors» is less about real threat and more about the psychological state of a person for whom the familiar world becomes simultaneously more fragile and potentially hazardous with the arrival of a child.
