Sati

An adventure-genre game where a monk saves his beloved from being burned alongside her deceased husband. Throughout the game, you will fight, evade enemies, and explore territory, all while being hindered in various ways from reaching the main objective—which is not what was described above…

In the city of Harappa lived the great people of Sanctus. In these lands, peace reigns solely because of the monks who reside atop the city’s temple.

Our protagonist, Raja, became a monk only because the love of his life, Devi, was given to another.

A spirit comes to the monk and tells him that his beloved Devi is in trouble. Her husband has died, and now she is doomed to the rite of Sati.

The main character descends from the Temple of Heavens to the city ruler to negotiate Devi’s rescue. The ruler agrees to the rescue in exchange for the fruit of eternal life in the Oasis of the Gods.

Thus begins Raja’s adventure.

Three islands and three dungeons have been created. The locations are Harappa City, the King’s Castle, Willow Island, and Fear Island. There is also the Boss Temple, Dungeon One, and Dungeon Two.

The level design, lighting, and collision detection have been thought through and set up. There is a resurrection altar with Buddha on every level; the player resurrects there when they die, and an image of Buddha appears, blessing our resurrection.

Additionally, specially composed music plays on every level, along with professional voice acting for the cutscenes.

The main character can travel by boat between various islands. He can fight different enemies and heal himself. He can also interact with the king and collect items throughout the story, specifically: flowers, a flower needed to enter the next dungeon, and the fruit of eternal life.

On the second island, we can battle the fruit guardian, the skeleton, and the sentinel. Each has a unique attack power.

On the third island, there is the monster Ganesha, who possesses four types of attacks. The lower its health, the more frequently it jumps on the main hero.

This monster is the one whose beloved Devi is captured to ensure the safety of the city of Harappa.
