Alisa Silantieva, a 2026 Bachelor of Design graduate of the HSE Art and Design School, specializing in «Animation and Illustration.» She lives and works in Moscow. She is a multidisciplinary designer who explores design as a space for dialogue between the creator and the viewer. In her practice, she views visual and digital products not merely as functional objects, but as a form of intellectual discourse, where concept, narrative, and mode of communication are inseparable from the visual solution. She works with typography, motion design, digital products, identity design, product design, and art direction, integrating various mediums into cohesive systems.

The portfolio is structured not around specific disciplines, but around a way of thinking. Projects are categorized by medium only for navigational convenience; however, each one is part of a unified practice. Regardless of the format, my focus is singular—creating a cohesive system where the concept dictates the form, and the identity becomes a natural extension of the idea.

Over the past three years, my projects have evolved from academic experiments into works submitted to competitions and exhibited pieces. They have been recognized at DAFES, featured in the Yandex Museum exhibition, and become an integral part of my practice, where every new direction builds upon the previous ones.

During my studies, I realized quite early on that I learn best by taking on challenges outside my comfort zone. This is why my professional journey began immediately in art direction, and subsequently expanded to encompass work with brands, cultural projects, digital products, and the music industry. Today, my practice integrates very diverse formats, but in all of them, I remain interested in the same core question—how a strong idea transforms into a cohesive system.

I consciously choose art direction because I see it as a continuation of my own personal development. It is important to me to engage in a dialogue with creators and exchange experiences. I manage social media accounts and create creative content. For me, this is another way to explore the communication between the author and the viewer—but this time by explaining my experiences as a creator.

By the way, my journey and vision were featured as the subject of an author interview published on Medium, where I also mentioned HSE and my plans for further education.

Diploma '26 [Branding and Motion Services and Community]

sold — a digital platform for exchanging rare items with auction elements. The project explores the influence of algorithms and clip-based consumption on the user experience, proposing a slower and more deliberate scenario for interacting with the digital environment.

A graduation project that fused research, branding, UX/UI, motion, and interactive design. This project allowed me to view the digital product not just as a service, but as a standalone statement.

CyberJam [3D Design]

CyberJam—an exploration of concert as a space of collective experience. Using a 360° VR video format, the project allows the viewer not merely to observe the performance, but to live the experience of unity with the crowd, to feel the energy of movement, rhythm, and emotional elevation.

I was interested in how to convey a sense of presence through the digital medium—a feeling impossible to replicate with a standard concert recording. The climax is the shift in perspective: the viewer ends up in the artist’s place, seeing the event for the first time through the eyes of someone who unites thousands of people.

In 2025, the project was featured at the Yandex Museum exhibition, curated by Katya Umnova. The full version of the work is available in 360° format on YouTube.
