Aida is a volunteer service in rural Russia. A bridge between the city and the village. Away from the noise and hustle, to a place where it is quiet and easy to breathe.

Website Goals: To captivate and inspire. To tell visitors how to escape for a holiday retreat in the countryside.

Techniques of transparency and overlay create volume, small captions allude to printed albums, and rounded edges contribute to a pleasing, organic layout.
The website operates through emotion. Touching adjectives, natural tones, and images familiar from childhood create an atmosphere that the soul desires. Genuine photos of volunteers and their stories emphasize the project’s humanistic nature.
In addition to the corporate identity, the website features unique elements. A set of icons to mark activities and locations within each village is designed from the main display typeface.
Aida is a project that is developed by people. It is expanding and being filled with new ideas. For instance, the «Lavka» (Shop) was created, and now products prepared by volunteers with the hosts in the village can be ordered directly from the website.

The packaging is created following a simple and kind metaphor. On one hand, there is quick labeling, as is customary in the countryside, so that jars are not confused in the field. On the other, there is the familiar city label. Thus, even the plum jam jar reflects the idea of interaction and agreement.
The Aid site is a complete portal—it not only describes the project’s mechanics but also immerses the visitor in its history and atmosphere. In the «Deep Dive Media» section, you can find all the latest stories and news, just as you would on a bulletin board.
Fill out the application and come visit! They are already waiting for you in the village, and the tea is cooling with mint.
