During his studies, the future artist Shaburov strongly disliked using a poster pen and gluing paper mockups.
Ingenuity saved the day.
At one point, he needed to present a mockup of a promotional display located inside a store.
Shaburov didn’t struggle for long—he took two pieces of actual soap, glued a basin from children’s tableware to the top, painted the whole thing with white paint, and presented it as a 1:10 scale mockup of a «Children’s Soap» display.
The painted soap, predictably, didn’t last; only the accompanying sketch remained.
