This text is dedicated to an exhibition on the history of Russian theater, which features over a thousand exhibits from 98 collections. In my review, I analyzed the curators' concept, the structure of the exposition across seven thematic sections, the selection of artifacts, and the use of documentary evidence. I formulated my own assessment: noting the exhibition’s strengths (rare items, the voices of contemporaries alongside the productions) and its weaknesses (the high density of material and the illustrative nature of some exhibits).
