«Flip A Hat» was conceived as a headwear randomness service. By putting on a cap, a person initiated a chain of unexpected events, allowing chance to influence the familiar script of their day.

Rebranding
Using ChatGPT, I rethought the initial concept. Previously, the hats were driven by randomness, but now randomness drives the hats themselves.
«Flip A Hat» becomes a brand of headwear sold in blind mystery boxes. The buyer doesn’t know which model they will receive in advance. Randomness also influences the design of the pieces—it creates unexpected combinations of colors, materials, and decorative elements.
When creating this project, I utilized AI models such as ChatGPT-6 and Krea. The branding of the first module was re-envisioned. The objective was to initiate the project by reworking the metaphor for the identity system.
New Metaphor: The Randomness Generator
For the rebranding of «Flip A Hat,» a new visual metaphor—the randomness generator—was proposed to ChatGPT.
It reflects the principle of product creation: the random combination of colors, materials, and details gives rise to unique designs. Randomness thus becomes not only a part of the user experience but also the foundation of the brand’s visual language.
Identity
I created the «Flip A Hat» logo using ChatGPT. It conveys the metaphor of a randomness generator: numbers and drops appear to «flow out» of dense black letters, as if the brand name itself is generating random figures.
Since the logo is black and white, I proposed a color palette based on it, as well as on the brand metaphor of ChatGPT.
The neural network proposed Mont as the signature typeface—a broad geometric grotesque. The Heavy weight is used for headings and the logo, while the Light weight is used for the main body text and slogans.
