«RE: FORM”—a reusable water bottle that transforms into a compact everyday accessory after use. The body consists of rigid sections that fold according to a set design once the water has been consumed. A built-in pocket is designed to store small items: headphones, a card, a key, or a hair tie. Thanks to its loop, the accessory can be clipped onto a backpack or bag.
The product combines two functions: a water reservoir and a compact storage space for small items. The transformation allows you to avoid putting an empty bottle in your bag, instead continuing to use it in a different form.
Target Audience
Young adults aged 18–30, primarily students and early-career professionals who spend significant time outside the home—studying, working, navigating the city, and socializing with friends. They value functional items, portability, compelling design, and the ability to adapt objects to various situations.
For them, convenience in daily life, individuality, and conscious consumption are paramount. They are willing to choose unusual, multifunctional items if they genuinely simplify life, rather than just being visually interesting.

Production
Proposed Materials
01. Bottle Body and Cap — high-density polyethylene (HDPE). A durable and lightweight plastic suitable for manufacturing rigid containers. The body consists of separate sections that fold via design, rather than relying on material stretch.02. Folding Pouch — styrenic-butadiene thermoplastic elastomer (SBS). An elastic material capable of stretching when the pouch is opened and returning to its original shape.
Production Logic
The design involves manufacturing plastic sections using injection molding or another suitable molding technology. The pouch can be manufactured separately from elastomer through molding and then attached to the body using mechanical fastening or another appropriate method.
The project is focused on production within Russia, utilizing polymers and other materials from SIBUR, as well as accessible plastics recycling technologies. Before launching the series, a prototype must be created to test airtightness, ease of transformation, wear of connections, and the pouch’s durability under repeated use.
Potential for future use
Potential applications:01. Merch Shop: a standalone product featuring recognizable design and a useful function
02. Gifts and Giveaways: souvenirs for participants in events, competitions, and educational programs
03. HR Communications: gifts for interns, young professionals, and new hires
04. Brand Events: a functional accessory for forums, lectures, and festivals
05. Collection Series: the release of several color combinations and design variations within a unified object. The design allows for the integration of Sibur’s corporate colors and logo while preserving the object’s inherent value.
RE: FORM can serve as functional merchandise for SIBUR students, young professionals, and participants in corporate events. Unlike a purely decorative souvenir, this bottle combines both practical value and striking visuals.
Reflecting Sibur’s Values and Brand Alignment
RE: FORM presents polymers not merely as raw material, but as materials that define an object’s function and behavior. The project supports the image of Sibur as a modern industrial company whose materials can form the basis for new user-centric solutions. The connection to the brand is revealed through the functional application of polymers, thoughtful construction, and expressive design targeted at a younger demographic.
Company Values in the Project: 01. Technological Sophistication: polymer properties are utilized to solve specific problems—a rigid material forms the casing, while an elastic one forms the pocket. 02. Practicality: the product adapts to everyday scenarios and helps compactly carry small items. 03. Design and Emotional Value: the unusual transformation makes the object appealing to a young audience and increases the desire to use it daily. 04. Rational Material Use: the design allows the object to continue being used even after its primary function is no longer needed. 05. Accessibility and Local Production: the project is geared toward using Sibur polymers and potential production in Russia.
