Wayfarer — a tapestry inspired by the Altai cultural heritage.—————Some of the most famous finds from the Altai are the felt carpets from the Pazyryk kurgans. In Pazyryk culture, these carpets were used in the burial rites of the nobility, emphasizing high status and cultural ties with other regions of Asia.
The tapestry is based on real ornamental and symbolic motifs from the Pazyryk culture—the narratives are inspired by original carpets from the 5th–4th centuries BCE and adapted for contemporary interiors.
