In the fairy tale «Vasilisa the Beautiful,» Baba Yaga gives the main character a lantern shaped like a burning skull on a long stick. This series is inspired by that image; skulls with glowing eyes watch the viewer, and although they may seem frightening, they illuminate the path through the dark forest.
